Perfect for both sun-worshippers and fans of the shade: Our beer garden, with space for up to roughly 120 people,
is the epitome of German coziness, or gemütlichkeit.
Leave your worries behind with a cool light beer and one of our Swabian specialties as the day fades into dusk.
The RT1 beer-garden analysis:
Ambience: Located in the center of the village and very peaceful, here the world is as it should be. The Gromerhof exudes a very rustic, rural and cozy atmosphere. An excellent culinary advertisement for the adjacent Swabian farming museum.
Selection: The menu is not too extensive, but there is something for everyone here. Salad, Kässpätzle or potato gratin for the vegetarians. Nice hearty meals for the meat eaters.
Flavor: Incredibly tender beef olive, ‘Allgäuer Kässpätzle’ that is flawless in terms of taste. The huge portion is beautifully served in a special pan. Price performance is unbeatable at around 13 Euros.
The real highlight: The combination of museum and beer garden is just phenomenal.
Conclusion: 10 out of 10 beer steins (Source: http://www.rt1-suedschwaben.de)
